Oakland Chinatown Lions Club is holding their Annual Health Fair at the Pacific Renaissance Plaza in Oakland Chinatown this coming Sunday, 6/9 from 10:00am to 4:00pm.  Many Health Providers will be on hand to provide free examination and free health information.  Oakland Fire Dept/Emergency Services will provide important life saving information at the fair.  Continuous stage entertainment will be provided including Oakland Police K9 Unit demonstration.  This is a well attended event that provides badly needed services to a very diverse community.  Many sectors of our community, especially the seniors, do not have health insurance and this may be their only annual health check up.  They will be providing language translators for the event.
