Comprehensive, Skills-based Training for Family Members
Based on research by experts, this new 6-week course from the Alzheimer’s Association will provide clinical-level training for family caregivers. Many caregivers have told us they would like to go beyond the introductory education offerings. This is that opportunity.
Graduate with improved: Knowledge, skills and outlook. Skills to assess the abilities of your loved one with dementia & adjust your approach over time. Confidence to set and achieve caregiving goals. Strategies to manage stress, make decisions, and man-age activities of daily living.
When: Wednesdays 10:00am-noon
September 12, 19, 26 & October 3, 10, 17.
Where: Fremont, CA
Fee: There is no charge for this course. A supplemental CD-ROM is available for $20.
